Event Description:

What is the Future Leaders Program (FLP)?
ACEC Georgia's Future Leaders Program partners with top industry professionals to train up-and-coming engineers on managerial skills that extend well beyond the engineering profession. The program offers training in presentation skills, networking, business development, accounting, effective marketing, risk management, communications and understanding industry-related public policy issues.

Build Firm Momentum:
Today's competitive workforce and ever-changing landscape pose new challenges for young engineers. It isn't enough to simply be a good engineer - the leaders of the future are innovative, well-rounded and command respect among their peers. ACEC Georgia's Future Leaders Program not only develops talent within your organization, but elevates your firm as an industry leader.

Registration:
Do you have an employee who is ripe for leadership growth? If so, register him/her in the Future Leaders Program. Applicants must be employed by an ACEC Georgia member firm. This year's class will be limited to 50 people; this program has sold out for the past three years, so register early. The deadline to register your engineer(s) is Friday, August 31, 2018.

Commitment:
The 2018-2019 Future Leaders Program runs from September 2018 - May 2019. All attendees must commit to attending seven two-hour sessions followed by a networking reception or social event.  Future Leaders Program graduates will be recognized by their nominating principal and the ACEC Georgia Board of Directors during a final Graduation Ceremony in May 2019. Throughout the program, attendees will be given the opportunity to earn two PDH's per meeting for a total of 14 PDHs.

Program Benefits:
The ACEC Georgia Future Leaders Program trains emerging engineers to meet the challenging demands of today's highly-competitive workforce and turns ordinary engineers into extraordinary leaders. Being a part of this program is so much more than gaining PDH's or obtaining industry knowledge; it transforms the way engineers think and positions engineering firms - like yours - for success.
